Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Branch7 ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use the Service. These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Branch7 is a platform designed to support military families with AI-powered guidance, community-contributed tips, and resources for navigating military life and PCS (Permanent Change of Station) moves. The Service is currently in pre-launch and waitlist phase.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that:

  • You are at least 13 years of age
  • You have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms
  • Your use of the Service does not violate any applicable law or regulation

4. Waitlist Participation

By joining our waitlist, you understand and agree that:

  • Waitlist position does not guarantee access to the Service at any specific time
  • Tier benefits (Founding Member, Priority Access, Early Access) are subject to change before official launch
  • We may contact you via email with updates about Branch7 and your waitlist status
  • We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the waitlist program at any time

5. User Accounts

When you create an account with us, you must provide accurate, complete, and current information. You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
  • All activities that occur under your account
  • Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or for any other reason at our sole discretion.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations
  • Infringe on the rights of others, including intellectual property rights
  • Transmit any harmful, threatening, abusive, or otherwise objectionable content
  • Impersonate any person or entity
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers connected to the Service
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service
  • Use the Service for any commercial purpose without our consent
  • Collect or store personal data about other users without consent

7. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Branch7 and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of our Service or included software, nor may you reverse engineer or attempt to extract the source code of that software.

8. User Content

When the Service launches, you may be able to submit content such as tips, comments, and other materials. By submitting content, you:

  • Grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute your content
  • Represent that you own or have the rights to share the content
  • Agree that your content does not violate any third-party rights

We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these Terms or that we find objectionable.

9. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

Branch7 does not warrant that:

  • The Service will be uninterrupted or error-free
  • Any information provided is accurate, complete, or current
  • The Service will meet your specific requirements

Important: Branch7 is not affiliated with the U.S. Department of Defense or any government agency. Information provided through the Service is for general informational purposes only and should not be considered official military guidance.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, BRANCH7 SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, RESULTING FROM YOUR ACCESS TO OR USE OF OR INABILITY TO ACCESS OR USE THE SERVICE.

11. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Branch7 and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising out of or in any way connected with your access to or use of the Service or your violation of these Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Delaware.

13. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of any material changes by posting the new Terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.

14. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
